An Annual Tradition

Each spring, Beauvoir holds a Scholarship Auction to raise funds to provide tuition assistance to families whose children would otherwise not be able to attend Beauvoir.  This year 59 children are receiving financial assistance made possible by the generous support of the Scholarship Auction.  One hundred percent of all Auction proceeds go to the Beauvoir Scholarship Fund.

The 2009 Scholarship Auction, Beauvoir: 75 Years Young, will celebrate Beauvoir's 75th Anniversary.  It will include:

• An ONLINE auction where items will be offered only online starting March 30 and ending April 22, 2009, and
• A dinner event, featuring both a SILENT and LIVE auction, held on April 25, 2009 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel.

Here's How You Can Help

• Give your time.
• Solicit donations from friends, relatives, colleagues, or your employer.
• Ask local businesses that you support to return the favor by advertising or donating goods or services.
• Think about what YOU can give: we need everything from cash donations to vacation homes, tickets to various events, airline miles, and more.  See the Auction Wish List for more ideas.  Please give whatever you can -- your participation is what matters the most.
• Donate money for items that we've already purchased.  Our "Let Us Do The Shopping" list identifies toys and other items that you can sponsor. 
• Encourage your business or employer to become a corporate sponsor or place an advertisement in the Auction catalog.
